This update includes several key feature improvements and performance enhancements. Here’s a brief overview:
Gesture Feature Improvement
The left/right swipe gestures have been updated to no longer retain the current page by default, and now function solely as “back/forward” navigation.
This change can help significantly improve web page loading speed.
※ If you prefer to keep pages loaded during navigation,
please go to Settings → Gestures → Enable “Keep Page”.
(For existing users, this new setting takes effect after closing all tabs and restarting the app, or when “Keep Page” is explicitly turned off.)
Secret Mode Improvements
In Secret Mode, memory usage is now completely separated from regular mode, including cookies and local storage.
We’ve also fixed a few security issues, such as browsing history remaining visible in Secret Mode.
※ Some cache elements may still be shared as exceptions.
Bottom Alignment for Quick Launch
You can now align quick launch icons (favicons) to the bottom of the screen.
Just tap the “+” button on the Quick Launch screen to use this new feature.
Other Key Updates
- Improved ad blocker performance
- Expanded support for video downloads from more websites
- Fixed download issues on certain websites
- Resolved app crash when adjusting video brightness before opening the built-in player
- Fixed issue where system brightness/volume UI didn’t reflect correctly in full-screen video playback
- Fixed issue where the “Fill Screen” button didn’t work in full-screen mode
